Feel the difference from your very first drive. Ceramic IR blocks up to 66% of solar energy and rejects 95% of infrared rays, so your skin no longer feels scorched during daytime drives. And because it’s completely metal-free, all your electronic signals, from GPS to 5G, work flawlessly without interference.
3M™ Ceramic IR Series
Superior cool
Feel the difference from your very first drive. Ceramic IR blocks up to 66% of solar energy and rejects 95% of infrared rays* — so your skin no longer feels scorched during daytime drives. Advanced nano-ceramic technology keeps your cabin cooler without overworking your AC.
Protect your privacy
With multiple tint levels that block up to 95% of visible light, Ceramic IR gives you the privacy you deserve — shielding you, your passengers, and your valuables from unwanted eyes without compromising your view from inside.
Guard against UV
Your skin and interior deserve better. Ceramic IR blocks up to 99.9% of harmful ultraviolet rays — helping protect your leather, dashboard, and most importantly, the people inside your vehicle from the sun's most damaging effects.
Stay connected
No signal drop. No interference. Ceramic IR is engineered with a completely metal-free design, so your GPS navigation, satellite radio, Bluetooth, and 5G connectivity all work perfectly as if the film isn't even there.

Terms to know
TSER — Total Solar Energy Rejection
The ultimate measure of how much heat your film keeps out. The higher the TSER, the cooler your cabin stays — even under the harshest sun.
VLT — Visible Light Transmitted
How much natural light passes through your windows. A higher number means a lighter, more transparent film — a lower number means a darker, more private look.
Ultraviolet Rejection
The percentage of harmful UV rays blocked by the film. UV is the leading cause of interior fading and skin damage — and Ceramic IR blocks up to 99.9% of it.
IRER — Infrared Energy Rejection
Measures how effectively the film blocks the heat-producing infrared rays between 900–1,000 nm — the invisible energy directly responsible for that burning sensation you feel while driving.
IRR — Infrared Rejection
A broader measure of heat rejection across the full infrared spectrum (780–2,500 nm), accounting for both transmitted and absorbed energy that would otherwise radiate into your cabin.
Glare Reduction
The percentage of harsh, blinding light eliminated by the film — so you can drive comfortably without squinting, even with the sun directly in your line of sight.
